Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Your name and email address when you check out or register interest in printed books; the items in your cart; and order details such as what you bought and when.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.

2. How we use it

To process your order and email your download links; to answer your questions; to send cart reminder emails only if you ticked the box agreeing to them; and to tell you when printed books are available if you registered interest.

3. Emails and unsubscribing

We only send marketing or reminder emails with your consent, and every one includes an unsubscribe link. Order and download emails are sent because they're part of your purchase.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with trusted services that help us run the shop: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, and our website hosting and database providers. Some of these may store data outside Australia. We never sell your personal information.

5. Children's privacy

Our website is for parents and carers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's storage to remember your cart. Our payment provider may use cookies to keep payments secure and prevent fraud.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for orders, legal and tax records, or until you ask us to delete it.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing us. If you're unhappy with how we handled a privacy matter, contact us first; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
